Documents depending on the marital status
In addition to the above, depending on the marital status of the deceased, the following documents are required.
- Married people: Marriage Certificate
- Widowed people: one copy of the Death Certificate of the deceased spouse
- Divorced people: Divorce Certificate
If the family or the funeral home already possesses a copy of the Death Certificate
- one copy of the Death Certificate
- one copy of the Post-mortem Examination Certificate
Grave Opening and Stacked Burial Permit
For traditional stacked burials in double-depth graves or casket/coffin burial in sepulchral vaults, our Company obtains a grave opening and stacked burial permit from the competent office of the National Public Health and Medical Officer Service (ÁNTSZ).
Cremation Permit
In case of death at HOME, the cremation permit is issued by the competent office of the National Public Health and Medical Officer Service based on the place of residence of the deceased, or by the hospital, if the autopsy is carried out in a hospital (Section 22 of the Post-mortem Examination Certificate).
